Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
1. Overview and Core Principle
PurePDFKit ("we", "us", "our Service") is committed to protecting user privacy to the highest standard. Every file-processing mechanism on this site — converting PDF pages to images, generating a PDF from images, and any related operation — runs 100% client-side, meaning entirely inside your own web browser using JavaScript and the Web APIs it exposes (Canvas, File, and related browser APIs). We built PurePDFKit this way specifically so that your documents and photos never have to leave your device to be converted.
2. File and Data Processing
- No server-side processing: The PDFs, photos, or generated output files you work with are never uploaded to an external server, stored in a database, or analyzed by us in any way.
- Temporary, in-memory only: Files are processed exclusively in your browser's temporary memory (RAM) for the duration of your session and are permanently discarded when you close the tab or reload the page. We do not retain any copy of your files after your session ends.
- No account required: You do not need to register or provide any personal information to use the core conversion tools.
3. Google Drive Integration and API Usage
Users may optionally choose to save their converted files directly to their own Google Drive account. This optional feature uses Google Identity Services (OAuth 2.0) and the Google Drive API, and is subject to the following safeguards:
- Access scope: We request only the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.filescope. This scope limits the application to files and folders it creates itself (e.g.image_to_pdf,pdf_to_image) — it cannot view, modify, or access any other file already present in your Google Drive. - No retention or sharing: Your Google account credentials, OAuth access tokens, and the content of any file you choose to upload are never stored on our servers (we do not operate a backend server for this feature), retained, sold, or shared with any third party.
- Limited Use compliance: PurePDFKit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- You may revoke PurePDFKit's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
4. Website Hosting and Server Logs
The file-processing described in Section 2 never touches a server. Separately, like virtually every website, when your browser requests any page of this site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamp — in server access logs. This is a routine security and operational function of web hosting and is not linked to the content of any file you process with our tools.
5. Cookies and Advertising
PurePDFKit itself does not set tracking cookies to build a profile of individual users. Local browser storage (LocalStorage/SessionStorage) may be used solely to remember your interface preferences (such as your last-used conversion settings) for the duration of your visit.
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites ("personalized advertising"). Where required by applicable law, your consent will be requested before non-essential advertising cookies are set. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings, and you can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings.
6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)
Because PurePDFKit does not collect, store, or transmit your files to any server under our control, there is generally no file content of yours for us to hold, access, rectify, or erase on your behalf. To the extent that personal data is processed — for example, the server logs described in Section 4, or by the third-party services referenced in Sections 3 and 5, each of which acts as an independent data controller for the data it processes — you retain your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability. Requests concerning data held by Google should be directed to Google directly via the links provided above.
7. Data Controller and Contact
PurePDFKit is operated by an independent developer based in Türkiye. For any question, request, or complaint regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, you may contact the operator at: eymenefealtun@hotmail.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
