Convert JPG / PNG to PDF
Turn your images into a PDF in seconds. Your files are never sent to any server.
How to Convert JPG / PNG to PDF
- Click "Choose Photos" or drag and drop your JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Reorder the images by dragging them, and rotate or delete any you don't need.
- Pick a page orientation, page size, and margin, then press "Download as PDF".
Supported image formats
You can add JPG, PNG and WebP images, which covers photos from almost every camera and phone as well as screenshots and images saved from the web. HEIC and HEIF photos, the default format on recent iPhones, are accepted too: if your browser can't display them natively, they are converted to JPEG inside the page before they are added. Large batches are fine; add images in several rounds with "Add More" if that's easier.
Page size, orientation and margins
The settings panel controls how each image is placed on its page:
- Page size: A4 (the standard almost everywhere outside North America), US Letter, or "Fit to Image Size", which makes every page exactly the size of its picture with no white border.
- Orientation: Portrait for documents and phone photos taken upright, Landscape for wide pictures, screenshots and slides.
- Margin: None, Small (10 mm) or Large (20 mm). A margin gives printed pages a cleaner look and keeps content away from the edge where printers can't reach.
Each image is scaled to fit inside the page and centred, always keeping its original proportions, so nothing is stretched or cropped. If you are not sure which size to pick, read A4 vs. US Letter.
One PDF or one PDF per image
With "Merge all images into a single PDF file" ticked, you get one document with one image per page, in the order shown on screen. Untick it to receive a separate PDF for each image, delivered together in a ZIP archive. One combined file is usually what forms and email recipients expect; separate files are handy when each picture is a different receipt or certificate.
Image quality and file size
To keep PDFs light enough to email, each image is resized so its longest side is at most 2000 pixels and saved as a high-quality JPEG. On an A4 page that still means roughly 170 pixels per inch, which looks sharp on screens and in ordinary office printing, while a typical 12-megapixel phone photo shrinks from several megabytes to a few hundred kilobytes. Smaller pictures are never enlarged.
Ordering, rotating and removing
- Drag cards to change the page order, or use the A-Z / Z-A sort buttons to order by file name, which is useful for camera files named by date.
- Rotate any sideways photo with the rotate button on its card; the PDF uses the rotated version.
- Remove an image with the delete button, or start again with "Clear All".
Photos of paper documents?
If your pictures show paper documents such as letters, forms or receipts, the Scan to PDF tool is often the better choice: it whitens the background, removes shadows and makes text crisper, and its files are smaller. Image to PDF keeps your pictures exactly as they are, which is what you want for photos, artwork and screenshots.
Nothing leaves your device
All conversion happens in your browser. Your images are read from your device, placed into a PDF with the open-source jsPDF library and saved straight to your downloads. They are not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone, so you can safely convert ID cards, certificates or private photos.
